Task force to tackle Head Start's dental logjam - zanesvilletimesrecorder.com:

Zanesville, Ohio, is fluoridated as is 90% of Ohio:

"ZANESVILLE -- Head Start has formed a dental task force to work on a solution to a problem that has nearly 160 students either waiting for an initial exam or treatment.

The problem is due to a lack of pediatric dentists and a waiting list at Children's Hospital. While a grant may bring some immediate relief to a few, Head Start needs help from local dentists.

Currently there are 389 children in Muskingum County's Head Start program. Of those 90 currently need the exams and 88 need treatment."
