Dentistry coming to county’s poor kids:

"When nurses who work out of a mobile health vehicle look inside the mouths of many poor children in Logan County, they cringe.

The youngsters often have extensive tooth decay, said Kristi Lessen, director of the Lincoln-based Healthy Communities Partnership.

'It’s indescribable. It’s so sad,' she said Thursday. 'There have been numerous kids who are even freshmen in high school who have never seen a dentist.'"
