Fluoridation Fails Florida

78% of Florida has been served fluoridated tap water for decades.  Yet, 42% of five & six- year-olds have cavities.  The prevalence of untreated decay & cavities increased by 15.4% and 6.9% respectively from 2014-2015 to 2017-2018 in  three to six-year-olds  This despite increased use of   sealant & fluoride varnish programs. Those suffering the most with cavities have no insurance.

Just 8% of Florida dentists accept Medicaid and that's the real problem. Children need dental care not fluoride - which isn't a nutrient nor essential for healthy teeth.
