Fluoridation Fails Tennessee

Tennessee's fluoridation rate is 89%.  Fluoridation is approximately 80 years old, fluoride toothpaste 70 years old, now there's a glut fluoridated dental products. Our food supply is fluoride-saturated from fluoridated water use and fluoride-containing pesticide residues.

Dentists often brag they are the only profession promoting a prevention that would put themselves out of business. Besides that they are insulting every other health professional, this is the reality:

  • In 2022, Tennessee’s budget included $11.8 million to expand the class sizes at the state’s dental schools and to recruit and retain dentists through loan repayment programs.

Ohio has a 93% fluoridation rate, yet "Previous analyses of 3- to 6-year-old Medicaid-insured children from the [Northeast Ohio] cohort analyzed in this current study have shown an even higher prevalence of 29% [untreated tooth decay]"
